Account & Profile
Manage your Kastly account settings, profile information, and preferences.
Profile Settings
Your profile is your identity on Kastly. Manage it from the Profile page:
- Display name - The name shown to other users and broadcasters.
- Avatar - Upload a profile picture to personalize your account.
- Bio - Add a short description about yourself (optional).
- Location - Share your general location (optional).
Email Changes
To change your email address:
- Go to your Profile page.
- Click on Change Email.
- Enter your new email address.
- Check your new email inbox for a verification link.
- Click the verification link to confirm the change.
Important
Your email change won't take effect until you verify the new email address. You'll continue to use your current email until verification is complete.
Password Management
Keep your account secure with a strong password:
- Change password - Update your password from the Profile page. You'll need to enter your current password and a new one.
- Forgot password - If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" link on the sign-in page to receive a reset email.
- Password requirements - Passwords must be at least 8 characters long.
Security Tip
Use a unique password for your Kastly account. Avoid reusing passwords from other services.
Notification Preferences
Control how and when Kastly communicates with you:
- Email notifications - Receive updates about your account, followed stations, and platform news.
- Station request updates - Get notified when your broadcaster station requests are reviewed.
- Advertiser notifications - Campaign status updates and billing alerts for advertisers.
Following Stations
Manage the stations you follow:
- View followed stations - Go to Profile > Followed Stations to see all stations you follow.
- Unfollow - Click the heart icon on any followed station to remove it from your list.
- Discover new stations - Visit the Stations page to find new favorites to follow.
