Yes! You can browse stations and listen to live streams without an account. However, creating an account lets you follow stations, access your profile, and get a personalized experience.
Click the heart icon or Follow button on any station page. You must be signed in to follow stations. View all your followed stations from your profile page.
Make sure your volume is turned up and your browser allows audio playback. Some browsers block autoplay, so you may need to click the play button. If the station is offline, try another station.
Yes! Kastly is fully responsive and works in any mobile browser. The audio player adapts to your screen size. Most mobile browsers will continue playing audio when the screen is off.
Kastly supports MP3, AAC, and AAC+ streams. The player automatically handles the format used by each station.
Sign in, go to Broadcaster > My Requests, and click Submit New Request. Fill in your station details including name, description, category, and stream URL. Our team typically reviews requests within 24-48 hours.
Your stream must be publicly accessible via a direct URL. We support MP3, AAC, and AAC+ formats. Icecast and Shoutcast servers are both compatible. The stream should be reliable with minimal downtime.
Yes! You can manage multiple stations from a single Kastly account. Submit a separate request for each station you want to add.
Go to Broadcaster > My Stations, select your station, and you can edit the name, description, logo, category, social links, and stream configuration.
Kastly monitors stream health automatically. If your stream goes down, it will show as offline to listeners. Once your stream comes back online, it will automatically become available again.
From your station detail page, navigate to the Personalities section. Click Add Personality and fill in their name, bio, photo, role, and social links.
Go to your station detail page and find the Embed Widget section. Choose your preferred size, theme, and accent color, then copy the iframe or JS snippet code and paste it into your website's HTML.
In the Embed Widget section on your station detail page, toggle on "Restrict embed to specific domains" and add the domains you want to allow. Use *.example.com to allow all subdomains. Websites not on your list will see a message directing listeners to your Kastly page.
The pop-out player opens your currently playing station in a compact mini-player window. Click the pop-out icon in the audio player bar to open it. The pop-out player syncs playback state with the main window and continues playing if you close the main tab.
Go to your Profile page and click Change Email. Enter your new email address. You'll receive a verification link at the new address that you must click to confirm the change.
On the Sign In page, click "Forgot Password." Enter your email address and we'll send you a password reset link. Click the link and set a new password.
Visit the Data Deletion page under Support or contact us directly. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your data, follows, and associated content. Broadcaster accounts should contact us first.
Yes! Kastly supports sign-in with Google and other social providers. Click the appropriate button on the Sign In or Sign Up page to use your existing account.
Navigate to the Advertiser section and click Register. Fill in your business information and submit for review. Once approved, you can create and manage advertising campaigns.
Kastly supports display ads (banner images) and video pre-roll ads. Different ad zones are available across the platform with specific dimensions and targeting options.
You set a budget for each campaign. View your billing history and download invoices from the Billing page in your advertiser dashboard. Campaigns can be paused at any time.
Yes! When creating a campaign, you can select specific stations to run your ads on, or choose to target all stations on the platform.
Kastly works in all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser up to date for the best experience.
Buffering is usually caused by a slow or unstable internet connection. Try switching to a lower quality stream if available, or check your network connection. Some stations may experience higher demand at peak times.
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. See our Privacy & Data page for more details.
